European GP results posted.

As Hamilton brings an end to his first record, we wait to see what the next sensation will be.

With luck we've heard the last of the Ferrari spat and we can get on with watching the races rather than the courts. With some of the stunts Ferrari have tried in the past, they should be wary of the course of action they are currently taking. "People in glass houses, shouldn't throw stones."

I gather the record for consecutive wins by one driver in one season is 9, anyone know the record for consecutive podiums in one season?

Nothing to say about Hamilton.

Ok, so Lewis Hamilton has extended the record sheets and his championship lead, but the French GP has to go to Ferrari. Kimi back on form and winning again, but as usual the 'not-exactly-happy' face on the podium. :-)

Interestingly at this stage, of the eight GP so far, there have been four different drivers and each has won two races. There's one balanced result that will change next race.

Results and points scored from the French GP have been posted.

Latest Hamilton result posted.

Latest points have been added following the remarkable rookie's two-in-a-row victory at the US GP. Given that he has 'not-raced' at Indy before just makes the result all the sweeter. Remember when Montoya joined Formula One and claimed to learn the circuits from the Playstation game? Well perhaps that's how Lewis Hamilton got up to speed!

Anyone who had Kubica, will have scored points for Vettel in the US grand prix. with luck Kubica will be back to full health in time for the French GP.

Rookie Hamilton's first win in race 6!

Well that didn't take long!

It must be impossible to maintain the statistics record he has achieved so far, but he seems so relaxed and pragmatic about it all. Perhaps now we (British) will be able to have a taste of the German fans elation over the last decade. If Hamilton never scores another point this year, he will still have had a fantastic rookie season, and he seems very capable of winning at least one world championship title during his F1 career.

Oh, BTW the results from Canada have been posted. All league points are up to date.

Monaco GP results.

Results from Monaco have been posted.

We waited to see if the official result would stand, and it seems McLaren understand and have played by the letter of the rules. Lewis Hamilton will soon get a chance to see what he can do, and that first win cannot be far off.

Unfortunately he has missed out on one of Emmerson Fittipaldi's records, but hey, his stats are looking pretty awesome to date!

Hamilton is certainly on the rise, and looks set to become a winner in the near future. Jackie Stewart seems to think so!

Bahrain GP results added.

All fantasy scores for the Bahrain GP have now been calculated. Could Hamilton become a British World Champion!? Maybe. He has certainly started well, and one can only speculate about future battles between Alonso and Hamilton on the track. Ferrari have their work cut out for 2007.

Modification: Team selections of the 'Williams Toyota' engine have been clarified, and no read 'Wm Toyota' to avoid confusion with the factory Toyota's which are not doing as well as their engine customer's !!

Malaysian GP results posted.

All fantasy scores for the Malaysian GP have now been calculated.

Looks like Hamilton could turn out to be an absolute bargain if he continues with his current form. On the other hand Jenson Button's extended stay at Honda doesn't appear to be paying off so far.

Williams on the other hand seem to be gaining a little bit more from the Toyota engines than the manufacturers are. Still early days yet.
